Tips for Making Seed Paper

I’ve had a look online at a couple of tutorials and instructions on making seed paper online. Some of the tips I picked up were:

– Newspaper will make the paper grey, white paper is best
– Use small flat seeds
– Press and flatten paper with rolling pin
– Glossy paper/lots of coloured ink won’t work
– Can colour paper naturally with berries, vegetables, petals and herbs and it won’t damage the seeds as food colouring would
– Must start with good quality scraps
– Soak paper in water before blending to soften
– Use cookie cutters to make shaped paper

I ordered some seeds today so as soon as they arrive I can get started on making some of my own!
