London Visit

We had a really good day in London yesterday and I was surprised at how much I actually managed to fit in.
I was able to get some nice photos of Borough Market. I was overwhelmed by the colours and atmosphere of the market, there was so much beautiful produce and street food on sale!

 

There were a huge amount of herbs and salads on sale so was able to take some nice pictures.

 

I’m really looking forward to start drawing from these images!

I also visited a few stationary shops to look at their ranges, displays and also if there were any cards with different concepts, e.g. a keepsake attached.

The displays were all very similar but there were a few cards in Paperchase which including something a little more unique, for example ‘selfie’ props and inflatable toys.

I did manage to go to the V&A and Natural History Museum but didn’t have much time in either, because I decided to spend longer in the market. I did a little bit of research on botanical illustrators which will be helpful.
