Last week I visited the Natural History Museum in London to have a look at the ‘marine invertebrates’ section. This was useful to get an idea of some of the wildlife to look at, that I may not have found myself. There were a whole load of interesting textures, on things like star fish and sea urchins, which could be really effective when reproduced in stitch. There wasn’t as much information about conservation as I had hoped but it was still a worthwhile visit for some initial inspiration!
